Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by ConfidentK9, including private training, virtual training, group classes, boarding, and board & train programs. By booking any service, you agree to the following terms.

1. Health & Vaccination Requirements

• All dogs must be in good health and free from contagious illness
• Dogs must be up to date on core vaccinations (or provide a valid veterinary exemption)
• Owners must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or special needs prior to booking

ConfidentK9 reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a dog is deemed unwell or unfit for participation.

2. Behaviour Disclosure

Owners must fully disclose any history of:
• Aggression toward people or other dogs
• Bite incidents
• Reactivity, fear, or anxiety
• Resource guarding or escape behaviour

Failure to disclose behavioural concerns may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

3. Training Services (Private, Virtual & Group Classes)

• Training results are not guaranteed and depend on consistency, follow-through, and the dog’s individual temperament
• Owners are responsible for continuing training between sessions
• Dogs attending group classes must have completed at least one session with ConfidentK9 to ensure safety and control
• Virtual sessions require a stable internet connection and a suitable training environment

4. Boarding

• Dogs must be crate trained prior to acceptance
• A virtual consultation or in-person meet and greet is required before booking
• Dogs stay in a private home environment and will follow household routines
• Training may be maintained during boarding, but boarding alone does not guarantee behavioural change

Pricing is per day.

5. Board & Train Program

• Dogs must be crate trained to participate
• Dogs with unmanaged separation anxiety may not be accepted
• A consultation or meet and greet is required before acceptance
• Program length is determined based on the dog’s needs (minimum stay applies)
• Follow-up sessions are included to support the transition back home

Pricing is per day. Continued progress depends on owner follow-through after the program.

6. Payments, Deposits & Cancellations

Private & Virtual Training Sessions

• Payment is required to secure all bookings
• A 24-hour cancellation policy applies
• Cancellations made within 24 hours may be charged or forfeited

Group Classes

• Full payment is required to secure a place
• Once payment has been made, no refunds are available
• Group courses may be rescheduled to a future course, subject to availability

Boarding & Board & Train

• A deposit of 30% is required to secure bookings
• The remaining balance is due before or at the start of the stay

• Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made more than 14 days before the start date
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date will result in the deposit being retained

• Deposits may be transferred once to a future booking, subject to availability
• No refunds are provided for early returns or unused days

7. Liability

While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure safety:
• All services are undertaken at the owner’s own risk
• ConfidentK9 is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage resulting from participation, except where required by Danish law
• Owners are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog

8. Emergency Veterinary Care

In the event of an emergency:
• ConfidentK9 will attempt to contact the owner immediately
• If unreachable, ConfidentK9 is authorised to seek veterinary care
• All veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner

9. Use of Equipment

Owners agree to the appropriate and humane use of training tools as instructed. ConfidentK9 does not support abusive or unsafe handling methods.

10. Photos & Media

ConfidentK9 may take photos or videos for training or promotional purposes. Owners may opt out by notifying ConfidentK9 in writing.
